Very nice building, lovely space inside and out. The drinks are meant to be above average in price and creativity. Unfortunately you only vaguely know what you're ordering. For example, an item will say something like, its a Citrusy riff on an Old Fashioned, but wont be specific about its ingredients. I understand not wanting to give away company recipes, but tell me if it has a syrup in it or not. Is it Lemon, Lime? Orange?....maybe I don't care for Grapefruit. It'd be good to know prior to ordering. And possibly note the type/style of bitter is has, Spicy, Nutty, Floral, Citrus? Also, I asked quite a few questions to pin down drinks we would like, but your wait staff didn't know the answer to most and they we're pretty annoyed with the questions. All around, I think everyone would appreciate a more detailed menu. Lastly, the main (First) floor is VERY loud, I'm talking yell in your company's ear loud. 1/2 the seats are not comfortable, no support and very low to the ground. This place has SO much potential, I hope they make some changes. We'll try it again sometime. If things improve I'll be sure to update my review.
Set in a historic corner building. The ambience and staff were wonderful and the drinks are phenomenal.
