The manager wasn't very customer friendly. When we asked about having more of a particular shoe in the backroom, she said she needed to scan the box to check for the size we needed. Instead if walking back to the section with us, we had to grab a box and walk it back to her. I've got quite a few years of retail under my belt, and I would never do that. But, the cashier was great. She caught a discount I had used on the shoes I was exchanging and applied it to my new purchase.
Interesting place. Love the shoes. Large selection. Customer service is very inconsistent. Ive been here several times the past weeks. Every time except for once i had people with terrible attitudes. Idk why but they were borderline rude. I go online now.
Overall shopping experience at the store was decent...found what we were looking for. However, Anthony- supervisor/ manager and Maria-cashier need to brush up on their customer service skills. Maria was rude to my husband and I the moment we approached the counter. When we informed Anthony, he was dismissive about the complaint. And gave a vague response “ok...yeah I’ll talk to her”. He didn’t even apologize.

I enjoy DSW generally speaking because of the deals and large selection, however, this particular location does not have the best managers in charge. They have terrible communication skills and speak so loud I can always hear them from across the store.
