Clarks has the best shoes. Most comfortable and best quality, they are the only shoes that I wear. If you are buying shoes, the staff at Old Orchard is very helpful and nice. However, if you need to return something - they are awful! I am literally afraid to go in there. They give you a hard time about returns, they try to talk you into keeping shoes that do not fit , hurt you, or you do not want. I have heard them making comments about people as they walk out the door after making a return. I understand they work on commission, that is an issue they should take up with their management and not take out on customers. People return for all different reasons, change of mind, fit, or they found a better price online. People would be more inclined to come back if they were ALWAYS treated with kindness rather than if they were only treated well when buying something. I try to buy online to avoid the staff at all costs - which yes - leads me to doing returns in the store. But that is what happens when you have snotty and rude salespeople. I have no interest in helping them out. Consider how you treat people to build loyalty with your customers and maybe returns would turn into exchanges.

I was greeted promptly upon arrival. The sales assistant went beyond whats expected. Not only did he bring the shoes I wanted but but came out with various sizes and widths. Love the comfort of my new shoes.
