Great shoe store and great owner. Will special order any Red Wing boot he doesn't have in stock. Like going back in time. Store has great old smell and filled with lots of vintage shoe . Was always so much fun to shop here. This was the last remaining old time store on the Squar . Alas,it too is now gon . We miss Kientzle Shoe,just like we miss the Ben Franklin,Brants StationaryThe clothing center,silver dollar antiques,and so many other stores on the square that have closed . And unfortunately the retail stores on Square have been largely replaced by real estate and attorneys offices,which does nothing to bring business to downtown Pittsfield. So many of our shopping dollars go to Quincy and Springfield. We need more interesting stores in Pittsfield to keep the $$ here
