Billing and online systems are terrible for this hospital. You are able to make a payment only if you enter an amount but it will not show you a billing amount or account information. All hospital visits are on different account numbers. Every single one... Calling to check on your account balance has hold times of 30 minutes to an hour. The hospital also recently outsourced their ambulance service. All in all not a good hospital or experience. Each time I have had tests the larger hospitals have to redo them. I would not recommend.

I brought my 12 year-old daughter into the HSHS Holy Family emergency room for a dislocated elbow on a Sunday evening this summer, and the staff and doctors did a wonderful job treating her with compassion and figuring out the best treatment. The doctor on hand was able to get her elbow back into proper position and, though it took time, she has healed up very well. Thank you!

I went here after tearing my acl at a volleyball tournament and they took an x-ray, even though the orthopedic doctor wasnt there and told me “something looks off but its definitely not your acl” They transferred me to another hospital and it turns out my acl was torn completely in half.

I have mixed feelings about this review. I needed up really sick and went to the er I was covid neg but woke up a day later in a covid unit in springfield no clue how any professional can expose me to covid 19 and I'm a high risk for not suviveing this. And alto I was negetive I was transfered to a covid possitive unit that I felt violated ever right I have as a united citizen after sighing myself out and returning to greenville. I did encounter one of the nicest drs I have met and he was berry sympathetic. He did a good job at making me feel better but someone dropped the ball and forgot people are not numbers and drs are not god and they shouldn't make decisions for your life like they are. I am still sitting everyday praying there mistake don't cost my life. By me getting covid from where they sent me. No one should have to know this feeling. I am not a Dr but understand if u send someone without covid to a covid unit you are exposing them to get it. Why would a professional do something as horrable as that. Procedures need to be looked at and things emedetly changed. To protect our rights.

I went to the emergency room here. The first thing I was told is why I came there. I was told inthat this is a small hospital and basically can not treat anything but the basics. It was a wasted trip. I made sure they had my correct insurance before leaving. I then receive a bill for the full amount stating no insurance. I called and they had my insurance information from years ago with insurance I have not had for years. I gave them again the correct insurance. I receive a call in a few weeks asking why I have not paid this huge bill. They still have not bothered to file with the correct insurance. I called the insurance. Blue Cross is wonderful. They called HSHS for me. HSHS claimed to them I did not provide the information even though I had given it two them twice.
