bankfirst is the worst bank I have ever had and the worst experience ever. I tried to solve a charger for underlivered mail that was taken out of my checking account without my consent. The day before I spoke to one of the teller about the situation and she said I needed to get a proof of address so I did. I walked in today again and I spoke to the manager this time I showed a picture with my address on it and she didn't get the time to see it and she just refused to do something about it! I asked if it was any way to get a refund of the money..I have two kids to support and i don't want to loose or give my money away without my consent so I told her that I was going to close my bank account and I told her to just give me all my money, she said she was going to mailed me a check! and she didn't give me any other options, so we got into an argument because I wanted my money at the moment and i asked why would you mailed me a check when the main issue was about the mailing getting rejected? so I said if i could talk to her boss and she said she was the main boss, so she intimidated me and she called the cops on me. and lied saying that I locked her in her office , which is a lie , I felt so discriminated and was so disappointed about how she handled the whole situation I didn't even say anything wrong to her.. I cry because of this whole messed up situation. Just a heads up, before choosing any bank always read feed backs first.

this place is corrupt as it gets, go to any other bank just not this one. we make this place what it is just so they can throw b.s polices right back at you. its a bad joke. put your hard earned money elsewhere..

This is the WORST!! iowa-nebraska was bad enough, I didn't think it could get any worse, but when it became bank first, holy horse!! Stay away. Save yourselves the headache

BankFirst is a takeover of Iowa/Nebraska State Bank. If Iowa/Nebraska State Bank wasn’t bad enough, then this banking organization (BankFirst) out of Norfolk, NE, took over. They fired almost everyone I was familiar with in the Sioux City, IA, locations and now run limited services everywhere but in Norfolk, NE, Main Branch. I was in banking for 34 years and 12 years as a Bank President. They don’t have a clue how to run a bank or what it takes to service their customers. You can’t even get a credit card advance at any of their branches. One of the tellers said to go and get an advance at an ATM, I said, “Yeah, an ATM is gonna give me $10,000 off my credit card.” You can think about opening an account with them, but don’t do it!!! You will regret it. If I could rate the bank a minus, I would. I have several accounts there and one I run over a million dollars through a year. As soon as I am able, all of my accounts will be closed there. Open an account anywhere but there. I recommend Telco Credit Union.
