Innovative & creative aren't words that always come to mind when you think about Dairy farms but John & Joan have created a place that can be summed up by those two words. Coming up with ways to keep their farm sustainable through tourism, data analytics and diversification are models others could copy. And their support if the community is truly appreciated. If you get a chance to visit, take it! You won't regret it.
I didn't realize how high tech the dairy operation has gotten. It was very informative and interesting to see how the operation is ran. It was great to see happy cows! ud83dude00 I would highly recommend taking a tour!
Interesting place ro learn how farming has to be business. Joan gave informative talks, explaining details of dairy farming, and how robotic milking and computers allow farmers to attend to farming.
A very good tour of a modern farm. I liked the data that is collected on each cow to determine output and health. You can find a small store at the end of the lane for the farm. The store work on honesty. Take what you want but put the correct amount of money in the drop box.
We had so much fun and loved learning new things. It was a great family activity for use
