They get 1 star because it wouldn't let me do 0...worst hospital I've ever been to...they are slow...lazy...the staff sits around talking and goofing off....left us in the room for hours...I had to go to the desk to ask all questions they didn't check on us or anything. I'd sit at home and die before I came here again...and don't write a response talking about how you care blah blah blah...I only read 1 good review on this hospital...it's horrible...close the hell down

Overall great experience! ER wait was long but it was crowded. Dr. Cole the ED physician and Dr. Beard the cardiologist were both AMAZING. The hospital did an awesome job at recruiting these two talented young physicians.

Worst experience I’ve ever had. Got into a car accident and broke my heel. When I arrived at the hospital I was in so much pain I was screaming and in tears. They never gave me anything for the pain and told me “there’s no magic medicine that will make the pain stop.” After they told me the X-rays showed my foot was “just sprained” one of the male nurses forcefully shoved my foot into a boot while I was screaming for him to stop the whole time. They sent me home with some prescriptions that I couldn’t get filled until the morning so I was in pain all night. I went to another doctors office and got more X-rays just for them to tell me my heel is fractured. Luckily I won’t have to have surgery because after the 2 weeks I’ve spent in bed it’s showing it’s heeling but I’ll be in bed for another month at least. Do not trust their opinions and I would advise anyone who had to go here for X-rays to get second opinions from other doctors. I’m glad I took the advice of others to stay in bed and not try to walk on my foot until I got a second opinion because it could have caused more damage to my heel if I had.

The only reason I’m giving 1 star is because I couldn’t leave a zero star review. I got into a car accident and had a severe ankle sprain. First off they would not give me anything for the pain while I was in the ER and left that night having to wait until the next morning to fill my prescriptions so I was in pain all night. While I was in the ER a male nurse came in to put my foot into a boot and while I was screaming and pleading for him to stop he would not stop trying to forcefully shove my foot into the boot. When he finally finished I felt like my foot had been sprained all over again. After that I literally tried to roll myself out of that hospital in tears because I was in so much pain and I couldn’t call my parents to get me out of there because my phone had died and they wouldn’t let me call my parents from one of the hospital phones. After being left in the chair not able to leave the room because i couldn’t open the door open for a while the guy finally came back in and rolled me out. We sat outside in the cold while I had to wait for another nurse to find my parents in the parking lot. By the time we left I was still crying in pain and just wanted to pass out. I am going to another doctors office to get more X-rays done and get more advice on what to do to help it heal because they didn’t explain anything to me. They just told me it was severely sprained, forced my foot into a boot and rolled me out. I hate this hospital and will always hate this hospital! Oh and this is just from one visit, there have been other visits (I’ve had to bring my grandmother here a few times for strokes) where the staff is just rude and take their time getting to you even if it a scary emergency! They send my grandmother home one time after they took a catheter out of her after surgery and we had to go to Memorial in Chattanooga because Dekalb Regional sent her home with an internal bleed. And most of the time when you go into the ER for something unrelated to a UTI they tell you you have a UTI and send you home without you even know what’s wrong with you! The worst part is I am a grown woman and have never felt so degraded or treated like a child in my life! I felt so helpless.

We we’re for 6 1/2 hours. When we arrived there was only 2 people before us. My husband could not talk so I had to go to get he waiting room. My husband could not speak or breath yet we wait led there for 4 1/2 hours for him to go to the back. The registering staff on the 2nd shift we’re very rude. They did absolutely nothing to help him except need to go to the VA hospital which is over a 100 miles away. I will never go there again, I rather die and home.
