We came here after meeting Dr. Connelly through her volunteer work with animal rescue but have found everyone we’ve met to be great! The front desk staff are professional and kind. All the vets we’ve had help with our pack have been great. Between my own dogs and fosters, I’ve had some complicated pups and they’ve been great to work with each time. When we’ve needed more urgent care or scheduled routine care they’ve helped each time to make sure my dogs were well cared for and I appreciate them!

We love Appalachian Animal Clinic and would recommend them to anyone. One of our dogs was a rescue after being removed by the Sheriff's dept from his previous owner. Needless to say, sometimes he can be a handful (especially when feeling protective). The staff at AAC has always been patient, calm, and encouraging when dealing with him which has made all the difference in the world as we work to socialize him to different people and environments. We couldn't be happier with our experiences there.

Appalachian was amazing! I took our yorkie there for the very first time on 02/18/2021 because of some urinary issues. The veterinarian called me and let me know what our options were and took him straight into emergency surgery. They all kept me updated and took such amazing care of our sweet Reese before, during, and after surgery! I loved how the veterinarian would be the one to call and talk to me herself. They were all amazing and I cannot thank all the employees enough.

I am new to this area so didn’t know where to take my pets. Found this place and was happy with my first experience bringing my older dog for shots.nAdopted a puppy and 2 days later she was very sick. Dr. Ellis and the staff here have done so much to try and help her. I was here 4 days in a row and they never once made me feel like I was over reacting. My baby is feeling better but not completely out of the woods yet. I am very grateful to all the wonderful people at Appalachian Animal Clinic!

Everyone was fantastic!! I am new to the area and my 10 lb. chihuahua mix found a hidden piece of rat poison in our new-to-us RV. I was able to have her throw up most of it but was still concerned. When I called, the receptionist was so sweet and said to bring her right in. They have excellent Covid precautions and were very efficient. I will be sure to take my fur babies there again!
