Disgusted with this program. My son is now on his third visit here. Third time this wasn’t my choice of places to send him. since the first two visits proved ineffectivensecondly I need to contact my son and they will not let me talk to him without his ID number. how can i get it if i can’t talk to him. So you expect t me to pay for a place I can’t talk to my son? wow!nn6:11. No one will give him the message I have called for the past two days several times a day! you guys put the same message to everyone who gives you a one star! how about having my son call me!!!!!

I left DISGUSTED with the care that the patients receive here. The staff (specifically on the adolescent unit) treated the patients like second rate humans. Nurses violated HIPPA on multiple occasions by discussing patient information openly on the unit. These patients NEED HELP. Patients do not receive individualized care other than medications. Standards for mental health teach that one on one therapy is NEEDED. This program needs to be revolutionized or shut down. I could go on, but the amount of one star reviews here should speak for themselves.

Extremely disappointed with this facility, My son was there to get help, After a week he was released ABSOLUTELY NO PHONE CALL to let me know he’s being let go. Just a email from a so called therapist named Johanna Ott... I come home from work to find my kid sitting outside in the flipping cold for a ENTIRE DAY!!!!! I was giving multiple lies that I was called there’s no calls for any updates on him. I also find that he’s received MULTIPLE bruises on his body as a result of staff abuse. He went in with out a single mark on him. I really hope this facility sees this and gets a good team ready for a defense because I’m going to be filing a lawsuit in this matter...nI don’t understand how they don’t give care that’s needed to those who need it!!!nNo one wants to answer to what went on or how he was released with out giving someone any notice. Absolutely disgusting and I’ll be taking legal action on this as previously stated.

I was very satisfied with the program!! I was there 2 weeks and was able to work on me. I had an awesome therapist Johanna Ott. She really cares about her patients and wants us to succeed. The nurses and techs was all good. I was not a fan of recreational therapy but it was not bad enough to say it was all bad i just was not a fan. If i ever need inpatient again this is the place I would want to be. I want to say thanks to all the staff for all the hard work and now that im part of the IOP they doing great things. Miranda is pretty awesome as well!! Thanks CCBH for all the help i have received!!

Updating this review, for my husband and for me! We have had more experience with this place than many over the last 15 years. There have been several really great nurses, depending on when you catch them and their moods for that day. The receptionists are HATEFUL and rude. Could be their disdain for me having called so many times over the years, regardless they do not carry a respectful attitude for families there. I have been cut off mid speech so many times and disrespected it’s ridiculous. And it’s every single person lately I’ve talked to. Please hire more understanding people!! One or two assessment people literally told me “what do you want me to do?” Call 911 when I was left exhausted and scared of my husbands state of mind when discharged before he was well enough. I have the understanding that because they’ve had to deal with me and my husband for so many years, maybe they don’t like me and that’s why they are so rude? I hope so. Because if not, that means they’re like this to others!nnI was grateful for a few things recently, a nurse and doctor C were very helpful during the worst of my husbands mania. Dr Snipes is terrible! Dr Brown was nice enough when I met here (with ECT). The doctor was communicative once but after that I didn’t hear anything else. This is rare for mental hospitals. But this brings another issue up! My therapist is popular for working with many hospitals to train staff. He is SHOCKED that as many times my husband has been in this place (and other places too, not just Ccbh), how to psychiatrists have a clue what they’re doing without fully involving the patients regular psychiatrist.nnI changed this review because I have missed a lot of sleep the last few days with how badly this place bothers me. It’s bad enough the hell our family has been thru, but when I learned my husband was discharged too early recently only because of INSURANCE then came home and ended up right back there four days later, it put our family and my husband thru too much coming home, it greatly affected my son seeing things he shouldn’t have, and having to go back after so long there it messed us up pretty bad this time. Now he’s better and just sitting there, doctor says “soon” and I’ve tried to call the past couple days unable to get an answer for discharge.nnTo the few nurses and staff that’ve been nice, thank you. Please don’t lose that with family and patients. I know it’s got to be hard to work around mental health issues but remember it is harder to be a constant support and have to go through this with someone you love, imagine being the patient ! But I’m sorry, no matter what I’ve gone thru here, they’ve sent me to a “fixer” who tells me whatever I want to hear and nothing every really changes. It is so sad!! Because not everyone has someone fighting for them on the outside.
