One of my favorite Norman spots for a nice old fashioned and a cigar. lounge type atmosphere with couches and undertone music that's not blasting in your face.

I had a wonderful first time experience here. Our bartenders were kind and courteous to our needs, and they made excellent drinks for us. The tobacco selection was great, and I enjoyed a nice cigar with my old fashioned. I would highly recommend going here for a casual and relaxed drinking environment. A solid 10/10.

Bartender who wasn't serving us shamed our friend for not tipping even though the rest of us generously over tipped.

Last night I experienced the absolute WORST service I have EVER had. Waited for 10 minutes before I was served not by either of the bartenders, but by the bar back who could not actually make our drinks but at least put our orders in. We finally got our drinks when we eventually got one of the bartenders attention to check for our order after serving people behind us. Barrett and Ben were the bartenders working last night and they ignored my friends and I like we didn't exist when we wanted to order again. I will never go back to this place nor will I recommend it to anyone for how we were treated by these two bartenders.

The birds nest is my go to bar. They have an excellent staff and a casual smoking environment. I've always enjoyed their service and atmosphere. The reason I'm both writing a review and giving them the five stars the management group doesn't deserve is because I was served by a certain bartender tonight that actively developed her bar staff while providing incredible service AND asked necessary advice from the bar staff nearby.nnRegardless of the overall faculty of the goodlife.nThis person demonstrated an inate untrained skill to create betterment in the lives of those relevant to her and provide and demonstrate her skill to regulars at the bar while using them to increase her ability.nNatural leadership is rare and often not used In the places it needs it most.nI want to bring attention to that so the management understands that THESE people are what make a place great, and that these are the people who will do great things for a restaurant.
