This is a classic of Norman for good reason. I've been here numerous times throughout my years at OU, as did countless other students and their parents before them. We keep coming back for the same reasons, good food, cheap drinks, and a fantastic location right in the opening of Campus Corner. It's my go-to place to just sit down and have food and drinks for many reasons, and I plan on going just about every time I'm in Norman.

I haven't been in since the location change so it has been a while however I remembered why I stopped going. A lot of the staff are very unfriendly. We spent a lot of money before my group ever got seated on mugs in the morning then the cover charge we already spent over $100 on St.Patricks day when we were let in then after being seated we were asked to go back outside and wait because our group was to big. We ended up migrating to the bar where 2 awesome bartenders took great care of us and allowed us to spend another couple hundred bucks on food and drinks. The girl who tried to send us away is the reason I will not be back. The 2 bartenders who took great care of our group amide the madness of that night thank yo I and stay awesome!

It was great being back in a place I worked at myself 20 years ago. I loved the staff and everyone was very friendly. They have the same homemade french fries and onion rings I loved too. I will for sure we back.

I don’t know her name, but the older waitress/bartender with dark curly hair was extremely rude to me and my friends. I wasn’t even inside the restaurant for more than a minute before I left in tears because of her aggressive attitude. After I left, I was also told that she was screaming at other members of the staff and she continued to be rude to my friends who stayed inside. This is the second time that I have been to O’Connell’s and both times I had an awful customer experience because of this woman. I have truly never experienced worse customer service in my life.
