In town for the day and decided to find somewhere local to hang out for a bit. There's plenty of drink options, to where I almost couldn't decide. The axe throwing is open around 4 pm or by appointment only before then, so we hung around a bit until we were able to get in. We had just had lunch but the food looks great, if I'm in town again I'll definitely try something. It was a great way to spend an hour. Overall the place was super clean, and the axe throwing attendant sharpened the axes right before hand and rewet the boards halfway through. Great attention to detail, and the whole place has a great vibe.

Establishment is clean and has a nice atmosphere. Servers were friendly, helpful and quick. Menu is a good size with options for everyone. The Loaded Wood Chips were okay. I think they would have been better if the onions and jalapenos had been chopped up into smaller pieces and all the toppings spread out more over the chips. The Bullseye burger was very good but they brought it to me well done after I requested medium rare. Accompanying waffle fries were average. Price was acceptable for the meal. Would eat at JD's again and recommend to others.

Great wait staff, but extremely disappointed in the lack of menu items and drinks available. Family friendly and fun, but not above average.nnGreat potential to be above average.nnHowever, they were out of chardonnay, prime rib meat, sweet potato fries, bone in wings, stilly wheat beer and other types of beer that we attempted to order. It was the day after St Patty's Day so maybe they were slammed the night before. ud83eudd37‍♀ufe0fnnI will go back the next time I am in town.

This place is great! The food is good and the beer is cheap and there's a huge selection. Their service is on point and quick, even though it did seem like there weren't a lot of staff members working they were able to handle groups and parties pretty well. The axe master was really helpful, knowledgeable, and quick to switch out boards that were chewed up. The axe throwing and the bar slowed down around 8 pm so if you're looking for a place to hang this is it. Also veteran run and supports military which is always a plus.

Had a great birthday lunch for two of Altus' most admired men. Sixteen of us. Food was superb. Service was beyond excellent. Our waitress took care of each individual and didn't miss a beat. Super fun lunch.
