Restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Service was quick and friendly. Fried Pickles, Cheese Curds and Potato Munchers (not on menu) were very good. Went for Wing Wednesday on a recommendation from a local. Wings were cooked well but had a slightly fishy taste to them. The sauces that they were spun in were not really remarkable. Sweet tea had a different level of sweetness every time it was filled. I would not rule out a return visit as this was my first time and they had some interesting items on their menu. 3 Stars just for this visit due to the fishy wings. I will try something else next time and update my review accordingly.

Val's is one I've the two decent spots in Altus. Margaritas on point and loaded fries are unbelievable. Atmosphere and service are reliably good. For pub food and a relaxed environment, there's no place better within 50 miles. Maybe more.

My favorite restaurant in Altus for many years! It’s great home style food and a nice hometown feel. It’s always great going to a place where they get to know your name and welcome you every time you come in!
