Took my father-in-law and mother-in-law here for a birthday celebration. Our server was named Matt. He was excellent .Very attentive. He knew the menu very well which was good because my mother-in-law has some allergies. The food was perfect. We had cocktails and appetizers and prime rib and dessert coffee and cordials. Everything was perfectly timed. Matt if you're reading this you're going to make an excellent bartender one day. And we will be back periodically all five of us.

Beautiful restaurant with cozy accommodation. Original 19th century with warm charm and antique furniture. Old wooden tables with arm chairs at most tables. Friendly staff good food selections.

Food was good and waitresses were great. However this the second time we went and all the propane heaters were not working or empty. Chilly!

Please please please do not listen to any of the negative reviews and please go here and make up your own mind. We discovered this place because we were looking for a great local family owned place to have a great meal. To start it is a very home feeling classic tavern look and feel. This is not a Fridays or Applebees(much better food then those places). Please understand they have an amazing chef on site that prepares and make every single dish and it shows. My wife and I came in and were greeted by Zach who made amazing suggestions from the start. Started with the hand picked draught beer list that is truly amazing. Had 2 beers and 2 cups of the amazing french onion soup. Onto the amazing entrees. The Chicken Saltimbocca was mouth watering and full of flavor. My wife had the butternut squash raviolis with garlic bread. She is a huge fan of butternut squash raviolis and these top her list of best ever. To finish we had the NY Cheesecake that is hand made.on premise and absolutely the best(better then most NYC restaurants).nnIn closing atmosphere was amazing, felt like I was eating in my living room. Nice fire pit outside to enjoy the beautiful air. This place is a must eat if in the Berkshires!!!!!!
