Me and the Mrs had a day off. We went for a drive and ended up at the New Boston Inn. We stopped in for a drink or two. We love the old Inn dining room. We sat in the bar area which was well stocked. We ate some stuffed mushroom caps and clam chowder, a pleasant New England fare .What a history. We didn't see Harriet maybe she will come out towards the end of the month.
Went for a ride with the hubby on a Friday day off. Saw this adorable place so stopped in for a drink or two and a lite bite. The bar is well stocked and my screwdrivers were delicious. The food is a little on the bland side. Stuffed mushrooms were sitting in a brown liquid, my Cesear salad dressing was definitely Italian, and I did not care for the doughy roll. Hubby had clam chowder and said the potato's were pulpy. The staff was great and the atmosphere was awesome. Loved reading about the resident ghost!
From the decor, a wonderful warm greeting to excellent food, service. We love our dining experience here. Homemade is the best!!
Very disappointed with the food. The waitress was nice, the atmosphere was lovely, but the food was less than stellar. Steak was chewy. For $26.00 a chewy steak, a small scoop of summer squash, and a potato.
Fantastic food and we love the owner. Very friendly place to go for a meal
