We were at Julep for date night and everything was wonderful....food and service. Julep has become one of our favorite restaurants in Oxford! We love the food and drink flights!
Upstairs atmosphere is unbelievably poor. The upstairs area has red Dollar General type curtains that are held up by zip ties, accompanied by Walmart-like lamps and decor. Sporadic service, took over one hour from the first person in our party of ten receiving their food to the last person. Drinks that were ordered took over one hour to receive in some cases. Two of my friends got food that they couldn’t even eat. When three individuals in our party addressed the female manager (working the evening of 2/27/2021) she blew the experience off. As a group of adults who had driven in from all over the state for a reunion, this was a disappointing experience to say the least.
Tuesday night is couple's night and the food was awesome. Service was great! We had a few nats flying around our table. Otherwise the experience was good. The resturant was really clean with a nice ambience.
Absolutely pathetic and unprofessionally ran restaurant. After the dirt poor service and dumpster-fire of an interaction with the owner/manger, who clearly has no idea how to treat customers, I will gladly go eat at Applebee’s before I eat at this trashy establishment again!
Wonderfully warm and graciously delicious experience at Sunday Brunch at Tulep today. I'll be back. The flavorful food was prepared with care and passion. The service was sincere and welcoming. Keep up the great Southern Hospitality. Thank you, Chef Marshall Welsh
