Uno Mas Tacos y Tequila

Used to be a once a week Uno Mas guy and went to a few Tequila tastings. The times I have chosen to dine here the past few months have been impressively bad. The service used to be some of the best that I had experienced in oxford with personable and knowledgeable bartenders/waiters. Nowadays it’s completely different. I’m sitting in here right now (one of eight people in the restaurant) and it’s like they forget there are people sitting at the tables. I guess I used to go on Fridays and Saturdays when you can expect decent service but do not step foot in here on a weekday. ¡NO MÁS!

Went into the restaurant around 1pm on a Tuesday. When we got there, there were only two tables with people. The waitress that served us came up and immediately took our drink orders and gave us our drinks but never returned. 20 minutes later, with no visit from the waitress, I waived at her in the kitchen (non rudely) and she came literally STORMING over angrily, then asked how could she help us in a very rude tone and attitude with both me and my husband. We gave her our orders and as she left our table she murmured something under her breath obviously irritated with us. At this point we decided it was best that we left. I approached her while she was entering our order into the computer and let her know we wanted to cancel the order. Had to say it twice as she commented “huh”. She then proceeded to say we needed to wait for the ticket to charge us for our teas (which we didn’t even fully drink and weren’t offered any to go cups). We were planning on leaving cash anyway. We went back to the table to wait for said check and then paid. She then said to have a nice day with obvious attitude and very rudely. My husband left his phone on the table and before we realized she YELLED across the parking lot for him and then literally told him “I’ll pray for you”.nWe have never had an experience this awful at this restaurant and actually really liked it and went once a week before this. I don’t think we’ll be coming back any time soon. Do not recommend if you expect any service at all.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in town! Honestly! . The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Servers are also great and always efficient, Hard workers and helpful managers, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in town. Best tacos ever! I recommend allnMy favorite asada and pastor! & corn on stick omg! ❤ufe0f

If you like margaritas and fresh Mexican food in a wide open setting then look no further. Great tasting appetizers and authentic tacos are so good. Give it a try and you'll know why its so good.
