Family Care Express

Services were ok. Problem was lab work cost. They sent me to the Covington County Hospital (Emergency Room only entrance) to have blood drawn and lab work done. Do not, do NOT allow them to have you do this. They will charge you hospital emergency room prices. . . Go to the Family After Hours Clinic in Hattiesburg. . . I will never, I hope and God willing, ever set foot in that clinic or hospital again. . .

I was seen at 12:25-12:30 July 17, 2020. I waited about 20 minutes in the lobby which is average. Got call back they did weight, blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen saturation check. For temperature check they are still using oral thermometer instead of thermal no touch. Normally not a problem but with covid going around would recommend declining temperatures check. Didn't see them clean the exposed part of thermometer before placing it back.nnWent to exam 1 room went over prescriptions and such and why I was there. Gave a urine speciem and waited about 20 minutes for that to come back. Was told they were calling in two prescription (escript). Went to the pharmacy at around 2:15 and it wasn't even called in. I called FCE clinic, waited at the pharmacy and it is still not called in. So I Called back to FCE a second time who then told me they had a message in with the. Waited 40 more minutes and no call back. Drove back up to the clinic all the wag from magee area to request the nurse or the nurse practioner or anyone able to just give me printed prescription so I can get these medications filled and start taking them. Here it is 4:45pm, almost 5 hours later, I'm still in pain, I have not spoken to the nurse, the nurse practioner working today and no prescriptions called in or print out.nnFamily care express is no express clinic. You're better off going somewhere else.

Dr, Brian Padgett is wonderful, Very nice and listens to you. Doesn't make you feel like he is in a hurry. The staff are great as well. Defiantly will use Family Care Express and will recommend to my friends and family.

Had never been there but was recommended. We took my 6 yr. Old grandson. We didn't know they closed at 7, it was 6:50 and was out by 7:12. Needless to say we were let known they did not appreciate it. They were extremely rude, the receptionist and the Dr. let us know they didn't appreciate staying over 12 minutes. to say the least. We will not even go back.
