My hubby and I came here for a nice quick drink. We were welcomed in and sat down immediately, loved the TVs. We ate Parmesan truffle fries and dipped on the Rockwell Martini- yum!!

We were looking for a nice place to eat when we came up to the Great Barrington/Lee area of Mass. from Southern Connecticut and using Google maps for restaurant recommendations this place stood out. My Wife and I decided to give The Well a try as the reviews were very good and the menu had the type of food that we like when eating out. It's a very small place with a good size bar and about 6 tables and 4 booth seats. Of course you can eat at the bar too. The service was very good and the wait staff were very friendly and new the menu well. Our food was out with in 20 minutes of ordering and it was smoking hot. I had the Philly Steak and Cheese Hero and my Wife had Popcorn Shrimp. Both were delicious. Like I said it is a bit small but the old brick and stone walls gave it a good appearance and felt like it was more intimate than some huge restaurant. Definitely worth trying out if you are in the area. If I had to classify the restaurant I would say it's American food.

I was excited to find this place while visiting the area. The place was pretty busy, so I thought that was a good sign. Decent beer selection, lots of burgers and sandwiches on the menu, decor was nice. We ordered burgers and an app. The burgers took a bit longer than usual, but that was okay. Then the app came after the burgers. They apologized and were surprised I still want the app. My partners fries were cold while mine were actually hot. Both of our burgers were overcooked. We both asked for medium rare and they were medium well. When we were finished eating, we sat for 13 minutes before anyone acknowledged we were done. Asked for the bill and watched two others who were still eating get their Bill's before us. We noticed the couple next to us had a very similar experience, but they saw how long it took to get our bill and were smart and asked for theirs when their food came. Maybe it was an off night, but Pretty sure we won't go back.

The food selection is quite good, but what has been extremely consistent is the high quality and standards. I really enjoy their wings and sauces. Drinks are well made and service has been good every time I've visited.

What fun for our holiday group of 12. We were seated at 2 adjacent tables to enable enjoying each other's company and appetizers. Table service improved while we were there as we were seated just before additional evening waiters came in. Our initial harried server did her very best to get our drinks out, orders in and informed. We just enjoyed the extra time together....it was the holidays.
