My hubby and I went to visit the Berkshires again the weekend- see my other posts for more Berkshire adventures and where to visit while in the area. The apple mule was pretty good but I really liked the NorEastern drink. We enjoyed the bacon wrapped scallops, and the sandwiches. Excellent service. The best part was the deck overlooking the beautiful lake!!

We always stop here whenever we take a ride to Stockbridge, Ma or to Vermont. Love taking the scenic route rather than the main roads and this was one of our stops. When the weather is nice, we would sit outside, eat our lunch and enjoy the view of the lake and watch the boats go by. When we go in the Fall, we enjoy looking at the beautiful Fall foiliage by this lake while we eat. The food is very good and the staff is very friendly. This is our 'go-to' place. Love it!

This place gets two stars because of the service mostly.nnAsked for a tuna sandwich not a tuna melt, waitress said no problem. Asked me how I wanted it, lettuce tomato and not toasted. It came out toasted bread soaked in butter. We spoke to waitress and never offered to fix it. Partner got a hamburger, was never asked how he would like it (rare, medium etc). Main problem was that we waited there for 15 minutes after being sat for a waitress to even come and talk to us. Hostess ended up checking on us. They only had three of tables with people so no excuse. Sandwiches come with basic chips. Upcharge for fries.

First time, I called in twice for takeout during regular hours and went straight to voicemail which was also full for some reason. That was a red flag.nnDecided to give it a second chance later in the week. Went back with a family member and ordered salads, wings and a cup of clam chowder. Waited outside but no one came. The whole set up is really weird. Decided to order inside and most if not all of the wait staff was sitting down eating in the bar. They stared at me until I apologized and asked where to go to order food for takeout. A nice woman took my order right there and we got almost everything in 15 minutes.nnUnfortunately they forgot the chowder, so I called and went back to get it. They gave us two cups instead. Both tasted like fermented milk so we didnt even get to eat them.nnDon't know if it was an off week or if they're going through a rough patch, but I would not recommend this place. Overall atmosphere is a little too lax and most of the staff isn't terribly friendly. The foods okay.
