I think Academy does the best overall job of any sports store. A really good variety of equipment for multiple activities. A nice assortment of sports clothing and they have various price points. Always bringing in fresh items and you'll find some great deals on what they are clearing out. Checkout seems well watched to, getting other associates to come up front as needed.
This place is awesome. If you are a gun enthusiast keep an eye on their specials. They frequently sell top notch guns on the cheap and even do BOGO sales. That's right buy a gun get a free gun. They also have the best clearance, if you cant afford some of the name brand stuff, as soon as the season is over (summer, winter, hunting etc) then lots of their name brand gear goes on sale 75% off. When they dont have sales and specials or clearance they are a bit pricey but they always seem to have some special going on. Love Academy Sports!
Decent selection. Out of stock of a lot throughout the store. Prices were a little high in some areas but good deals in others depends what you're looking for. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting though. Wouldn't recommend using those.
This is probably one of the worst stores i’ve ever been too or seen. You walk in and see some good stuff but once it comes to shoes and clothes sizing you will rarely find anything you want because they never restock. they have like two different types of shoe per category which makes it pointless. Needs improvements!!
Clean, staff was super helpful, very well stocked, and prices were unbelievably reasonable. Can't wait to take my daughter back to start looking for spring clothes and shoes.
