A family member recently spent several days in this facility. We were very disappointed overall. The only people at the facility who communicated with us during this stay were the facility LCSW and another facility person who was obtaining the initial required signatures. We received no communication from the psychiatrist/nurse practitioner during our family member's stay. Most of the facility technicians drank soft drinks and ate candy right in front of the patients staying at the facility (including some very young children). The patients were not allowed to have soft drinks or candy. Also, the technicians regularly yelled at the patients staying at the facility, basically all day long. The group therapy sessions that were supposed to be performed were only ten minutes long. Two of the days our family member was at the facility, the patients at the facility were essentially forced to sit quietly and watch movies all day. Our family member had been prescribed one medication prior to staying at the facility by our family member's psychiatrist. THIS MEDICATION WAS NOT PROVIDED TO OUR FAMILY MEMBER FOR THE FIRST THREE DAYS OF THE STAY AT THIS FACILITY. Another med was prescribed for our family member at the facility. This medication was not provided for our family member for the first three days of the stay. The patients at the facility are allowed one five minute phone call a day during which time a facility staff member is sitting right next to them--which inhibits any decent communication of any negative events occurring at the facility.

this place is not ok. The techs are very rude and all we did was stay in the unit all day and watch tv.

I hate the fact that my family member came home sick and got everybody else sick. It’s no social distancing, poor nutrition and poor sanitation. There are places that can help. The Children's Center. Detroit, Mi.

they barely fed us and when they did it was terrible food and we got treated terribly and we sat in this small room all day with nothing to do but stare at walls. it made my depression and anxiety worse. I hated every part and of it. and if our showers were over 1 minute we got a shot.

I would never recommend sending anyone here. The first night I got there I was verbally assaulted by one of Techs because I didn't know where to put my bag. They act like everything is an inconvice to them; It is there job. I cannot express this enough. The girls were not supervised at night whatsoever so everyone walked around the facility and did whatever we wanted at night. I was not given the treatment I needed and was practically shoved out the door. They only paid attention to the patience who stayed long term and not the ones who needed help.
