In recovery. Called my nurse. No response now for 30 minutes. Was never brought my lunch. It’s 1:40.

Worst ER ever. This used to be a great hospital until Emory got involved. It is horrible, I’ve been waiting almost 5 hours, I’m 66 yo and am having symptoms of DVT, which can be life threatening, but to these people in the ER it is not an emergency!!nThey have no regard for the consequences that a blood clot in your legs could have.nDon’t waste your time coming here. That’s why they are rated at a 3!!!!

Every experience I've had at Emory St. Joseph's has been awful. I've had to go twice and both were upsetting experiences I've had in my medical history. They were worse than the time I was forgotten in an exam room until closing (which also happened at an Emory clinic).nnThey get one extra star for the ER doctor who was very kind last year and did not perform a gynecological procedure that they were not comfortable with at the time I went to the ER since there were no Gyn doctors available.nnThe ER is slow and overpriced in comparison to other hospitals in the area. Their gynecology department is condescending and negligent at best. They do not believe you when you say you are in pain.nnI've now been trying to get an appointment for a test (because my insurance will only pay for Emory) for over a month and today (one month and one week later) did I get past the people who write down your message and 'pass it on' only to find out that there's almost no likelihood of me getting an appointment this month either. I now have to decide if I want to put my life a risk for another month or find a way to shell out the out of pocket costs to get the test done at another facility.nnTL;DR Don't come here if you value your life or your money.
