Very overpriced and weak offering. They call “raw bar” that has one choice of oysters and shrimp cocktail.n“Digs” are definitely NOT hip like google says.nnI walked in at 6:30pm (yes, it was off season), they sat me at the bar. At 7:00pm dude behind the bar started closing and cleaning with super strong bleach and chemicals smell. My server kept coming asking if i need anything else. I was chocking with the abrasive smell.nMy server when asked about wine said he is new so he does not know any. I asked him to get a menu or something he told me to go to the website which i did and there was no wine list. I was trying to be understanding but he was just standing there. When i asked him to bring someone who knows he started to say random words from wine world. I just asked for chardonnay. He did NOT know what am i asking for. I told him to go and ask bartender. He left and came back with actual wine list/ menu. I asked for glass chardonnay he comes back and claims its 86 (finished). I asked for something else. He brings me $15 glass of wine that was undrinkable. I left more than half.nHorrible experience.nVery inexperienced staff with no supervision. Manager just came in to check if the cleaner did a good job and left.nDefinitely not worth it.

Wish I could give 0 stars.nnMy husband and I dined at The Port on September 7th. We arrived at 6:50 with a 7PM reservation for two. No problem, we were seated in the front of the restaurant immediately. At 7:30 we still had not been greeted by a server despite my asking the host two times to send someone out. We didn't even receive a glass of water until 7:45. We ordered a bottle of wine and when it was unavailable, our server told us her bartender recommended another similar wine that was actually $10 cheaper. We found out when we got the bill that it was $12 more expensive. We had to ask for bread four times before our server actually remembered to bring it.nnAfter our appetizers our plates were cleared and the entrees eventually came out- the kale salad for me and the burger for my husband. Our server had taken my fork when she cleared the plates and did not come back to check on us for over 20 minutes. By the time I was able to even request the utensil my husband had finished his entire meal.

Nice place to have dinner. It was cold so we sat inside, our service was nice but not over the top. We were charged for some things we didn’t order and they were unable to make accommodations for a dietary restriction. The food was good. Also, beware as those famous mudslides are $19 each.

I had a rough experience at the Port.nnWe came in around 2pm looking for a late lunch. They have a big outdoor patio and in COVID times (and a sunny day) we thought this would be a good option. As soon as we walked in, we got asked if we were there for oyster hour, which sounded great, so we said yes and sat down.nnWe got menus, ordered drinks, picked our food, and went to order. Snafu number one: we tried to order oysters and a salad, and we got told that during oyster hour, they don't have a full menu, just raw bar (shrimp, lobster, oysters) and soups. Fine, but then why hand us a full menu when we walk in? Even better, give us a heads up before we sit down and order drinks!nnWe order the oysters and a bowl of clam chowder. Snafu number two: our waitress comes back and tell us that actually, there's no chowder either, just raw bar. Now I'm feeling really stuck - we're waiting for our drinks to arrive, so I can't leave, but I haven't eat anything all day and I'm starting to get shaky. I ask the waitress if we can get some bread and she says sure, then goes off again.nnSnafu number three: she comes back and lets me know that I can get bread, but they weren't expecting to serve bread for another hour or so, so it'll take a bit to get it. The bread arrived nearly 20 minutes later.nnThe oysters were good and our drinks were fine, and when we finally got bread, I can't even tell you if it was actually good, but I devoured it as if it was the last piece of food on Earth.nnOverall, I don't know what to think. This place seems so promising, but the lack of communication and the experience I had left a really bad taste in my mouth.

I will never come back there. We had dinner there back in June. I felt humiliated by a server, she didn’t know the type of ID I had and had to call someone to double check it. The whole time she was acting rude. I was hesitant to write this review but I heard multiple bad comments from my friends. I wish I remembered that servers name. It was our first night out after being in quarantine and she totally ruined it. Food was okay but because of customer service I’m never coming back.
