We placed my Mom on Pruitt hospice services. During the brief period she was with them, they went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and out of pain. My Mother passed from Cancer and was in pain constantly. They went as far as her RN having medicine called into the pharmacy at 2am to help reduce her pain enough to sleep. They sent an Aide to help us bath her and make sure she was comfortable. Their Chaplin was there for My Mother and for our family. That's something we know helped my Mom. They were literally just a phone call away the entire time. After She passed, they were still there. They called to check in with us, offered their services to help through the grief. That was in May, it's September and they still take the time to check on us, always offering whatever help they can. We were very fortunate to have Pruitt Hospice take care of my Mom. Their kindness, compassion and professionalism is unmatched.

My roommate was elderly and in desperate need of hospice services. We were able to get Pruitt hospice for him and it literally saved his life. He was basically bedridden with no insurance or help from his family. We couldn't afford to help him medically. Pruitt did EVERYTHING for him. From the day he was signed up until he was discharged, they assisted him. From putting his pill packs together, making sure he knew his appointments and medicine regimens, to spiritual needs, they were on top of their game. Through Pruitt Hospice he regained his health and his strength. He was discharged from their services a new man. Hospice is NOT a death sentence and we are so are so grateful for each and every member of their team! He wouldn't be here today if it hadn't been for them!

The truth is that I am remiss to ever leave a review until the “job is done” as a matter of prudence but Pruitt is the exception to that rule.nnPruitt has been helping our family for just over a year. When my father’s doctor declared he would need hospice I was sure to look online and do research for the different companies in Savannah that offered this service and Pruitt was among them. I scheduled interviews at home with these groups so I could ask the right questions and sure that my father’s needs would be met. What I have come to love most about Pruitt is that the regular staff we deal with have such incredible rapport.nnFrom the very start Pruitt made it clear, through their very charming marketing officer Anne, that they were client focused and desired to delivery top quality care for my father. Anne wasn’t just blowing smoke! Both Jackson and Ashley have taken great care and exercised patience in helping my father to bathe and clean. Brittany and Jason have acted as attentive nurses who visit regularly and always answer any questions I might have about my father. When I was stranded away from my father and out of the country during COVID’s early days they were consistent and kept in communication. When I couldn’t be reached by normal phone lines Anne went out of her way to get Viber so we could stay in touch. Now that is service! All of this has been so helpful because I am a young man who has never raised children or cared for the sick and any slack that I dropped they have picked up.nnThe pros of this hospice is that they are professional, kind, and understanding. They are knowledgeable as well. Their staff is regularly tested for COVID and their fulfillment of equipment needs (Gerry Chair, Commode, etc) is typically same day. Their nurses are always a text away.nnOf course there exist areas of opportunity for Pruitt, and I still rate them five stars. There have been times where scheduling has been inconsistent but this has only been since and during the COVID crisis which has obviously put a huge wrench into every aspect of home health care. Even still, they have always responded promptly and courteously when I have voiced these concerns. Another area of opportunity is the rapport and candor of the on-call nurses (not the regular nurses I mentioned before) who sometimes lack bedside manner. All of their staff is professional and understanding.nnPruitt will go above and beyond for you and will clearly explain where they can help or where other, outside resources, may be needed for helping a specific problem.nnIf you’re looking for a hospice service provider in Savannah I would challenge you to find a better fit— I just don’t think one exists! Thank you to the Pruitt staff for their continued care of my father. Watching his illness progress has been so difficult and you all have been superheroes.
