I love this place. There is always something new and exotic! The owner is very sweet and is always willing to answer questions. Guess what? ... it smells like a pet store! This is Okeechobee's only REAL pet store. They sell unique animals and have a large variety of different species you don't see in other stores. I travel quite a distance to visit weekly for my bird supplies. They even special order. I can't say enough positive things about them. Don't waste your time with the fake reviews. Prices are good. Selection is good. Animals are healthy. I would give 10 stars if I could.
Great little shop. Exotic Pets Okeechobee has lots of different reptiles, rabbits, parakeets, chinchillas and a bunch of supplies. The animals are clean and healthy. The staff is nice and eager to assist and answer questions. They don't try to sell you animals. They make sure the animals are right for your family.
I was apprehensive about going to this based on the negative reviews. I am glad I went. Owner is super nice and very knowledgeable. Animals are healthy. Store is clean. The negative reviews are most likely from competition because they are going a wonderful job. I was hoping to meet a skunk. I learned the breeding season and availability, and the fact I need to have a permit which the owner is helping me to obtain. They carry products for all types of exotic pets. Don't let the negative reviews sway your decision to visit. They have cool pets and know what they are doing.
Best pet store around. Owners are very knowledgeable about the animals and their care. Nice selection of reptiles and small animals. If you don’t see what you’re looking for they can probably get it for you.
Dear Store Owner,nThe store does smell, its a very strong pungent odor as soon as you walk in. Simply disinfect and clean the store, its that simple . Why be lazy? When somebody gives a comment about the store and the animals its for the betterment of the people and the animals. Instead of starting controversy with the customers you should try to better the store and take as a positive critique.
