Winchester Neurological Consultants

Originally my appointment was last week but it got canceled because of the snow storm. So it got rescheduled for March. Got a phone call saying they had a cancellation and asked if I’d like to be seen the next day, so I said yes since they do get booked out. My appointment was at 2:30, I got there at 2:15 since it was my first appointment. The front desk lady was super nice. I got called back within minutes which was nice. I was informed by the nurse that there was one more patient ahead of me. So here I am waiting and waiting and waiting. It is now 3:30 and no one has come in to inform me on why it’s taking so long. I asked to use the bathroom the nurse showed me where to go. When I came back someone else was in my room! I was gone for only a few minutes. When I asked how much longer it was going to be the nurse was kind of rude about it and told me the same information that there was another patient ahead of me. Also that they can’t help how long it takes with a patient. (I understand that) Finally at 4:00, a hour and half after my appointment time my doctor came in. I was lucky to get Dr. Lyons. He was amazing and listened to all of my concerns and was very nice. Highly recommend seeing Dr. Lyons. The checkout ladies were super friendly as well. Giving 3 stars because the long wait was ridiculous, especially since no one came to update me on why it was taking so long. Also because the nurse wasn’t very friendly.

Longest wait for a schedule appointment of my life. The receptionist very nice and polite, which was delightful for a change. They told me there would be a wait but gave me a room anyway. Over an hour later the doctor finally came in. The office had not gotten or asked for a transfer of my medical history, even after requesting that be done a month before when the appointment was schedule. So the doctor basically had nothing he could do with me. So it was a 10 min visit at that point. I don't understand why I scheduled an appointment if I have to wait more than 30 min. They would've charged me for being over an hour late but I still have to pay full price. This experience definitely deserves a 2-star or less.

I saw Dr. Choi before he left the practice and appreciated the extra time he took with my situation. He pulled out all the stops and ran months of tests, scans and monitors to finally pin-point my diagnosis. Most doctors would have given up.nnI now see Tammy McDaniel at the practice and age has been very helpful in working to towards finding the right medications for my diagnosis.nnThe front office stuff has always been helpful, as have the check-out staff.

The front office staff was so friendly. I saw Dr. Loyd and he was fantastic. He is so nice and was so patient and understanding. He was quick to get to the bottom of the things. His nurse is great too. I recommend this office and Dr. Loyd to anyone who needs a neurologist.

Dr Crowe, he is amazing!! I will continue to come here for him! The rest of the staff is a disaster. I needed referral put in for migraine meds and they never out it in, I waited months, and put in several calls. Once it was put in it was wrong and I had to do all the work. Simply just a mess with his staff, but Dr. Crowe is AMAZING!
