As a rebuttal to the last review posted... 400 East is a phenomenal restaurant!! We have been going to this restaurant since my husband and I were teenagers dating! It’s one of our most favorite family restaurants to have birthdays at! Also we are vegan and they are ALWAYS accommodating and make substitutions for our meals! There is nothing wrong with the way they do business and in such a terribly difficult time for restaurants I commend them for doing what they do! They have the BEST NACHOS we have ever had and their fresh salads are absolutely to die for! Our food is always fresh always amazing and the staff has ALWAYS been nothing but pleasant and wonderful!! If you’re visiting the area ABSOLUTELY make a stop here because you won’t be sorry!! Thank you 400 East!!

My wife and I had the 2 specials on Thursday night she had prime rib and I had scallops and cod dish was outstanding compliment to the chief

Ordered take out for lunch for 3 people. I ordered a med rare pattimelt and please add sauteed mushrooms. My patti melt was so over cooked it was more then well done, dry and no mushrooms.. totally inedible. I called and spoke with Rick (he took the order) Told him the situation and his response was ... oh I see the order here I put it in as well done so its my fault not the kitchen, sorry.... and that was it.... so I paid $13 for nothing and gave a $4 tip!!! NOT HAPPY when I asked my other co- workers how their burgers were, the burgers were cooked perfect but missing thing like Mayo they asked for.

I’d give it zero stars if possible - I am convalescing in cape cod and my brother from TX wanted to treat us to dinner - we suggested 400 East - he ordered us two lava cakes as a special treat - they were never included in the package.nnHe called next day - receptionist acknowledged the deserts were not included but the mgr would call back. Today he called AGAIN and was told by mgr it’s been more than 48 hours no refund - people like their food - could care less about any reviews!!!nnShocked just shocked at this treatment. I’ll spread the word about this most disreputable policy - I won’t patronize this restaurant again . SHAME ON YOU!!
