Watkins Jewelers, Inc., is a first-class, top-drawer business that has been operating since the 1930s, and for a reason. They treat people right. They are courteous, skilled, and knowledgeable. I was there today with two minor items — changing a battery in a prized watch and replacing the band on an everyday watch. The owner and his staff treated me as if I were buying the Hope Diamond. All of this may appear to be trivial. But it not. It is what reputable businesses do and how they treat people. I was very impressed with Watkins Jewelers, Inc., of Blackstone, VA, and highly recommend the firm to the public.
This is the finest most welcoming family owned jewelry store we have ever been to. You will not get the kind of service and quality as well as reasonable prices at those chain stores. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to Blackstone you will not be disappointed.
