Went there yesterday just overall very unprofessional. The nurse does not give you privacy when discussing your results they did not close the curtain or anything when my results were giving the whole hall heard my business and I also heard other peoples business as well, whatever happened to privacy? I'm trying to figure out my rights now as to if I wanna sue or my other options. I only came here because my insurance with my job hadn't kicked in yet, and with being a truck driver i had to go to what was closer to me, but this was a pure waste of time. What kind of hospital doesn't give u an STD lab test if you're feeling like somethings off and you want to make sure nothings wrong? Smh...There was really only one professional nice nurse and that was Ms. Peg the care service nurse. I will never go back here ever again.....
If I could give them a negative rating I WOULD!!! I'm originally from Maryland and was visiting family in Nathalie back in December of 2019. I was 30 weeks pregnant with twins that decided this was the time to come. I will say that the nurses and staff were wonderful. Fast track to now...my problem is with STEPHANIE AND THE CLAIMS/FINANCIAL DEPARTMENT. They were billing me and my children a total of over $30,000. They claimed that we A) didn't have coverage and B) they weren't participants in the Amerigroup State of Maryland...obviously. Upon being admitted, I gave ALL my insurance information and they were able to get pre authorizations for treatment on an emergency c section basis. This has been explained to them SEVERAL times. Turns out that on one of those claims instead of entering the service year of 2019 they entered 2015!! OBVIOUSLY IT WAS DENIED AS PATIENT NOT COVERED BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE INSURANCE AT THAT TIME NOR WAS I EVEN PREGNANT!!! They then resubmitted the claim again and the insurance denied it again because apparently in Maryland you have 9 months to file a claim. For Virginia it's 12 months. So again, since they don't read anything apparently, the claim got denied for not meeting the filing date criteria. Today when my insurance called them to let them know that I as the patient cannot be billed or be held responsible for the bill and that they are required to write it off, not only because I am a medicaid recipient but because they didn't file on time, they blatantly said NO. The reason this time is because I didn't give them my insurance information EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE PRE AUTHORIZATIONS ON FILE WHICH YOU CAN NOT GET WITH OUT THE PATIENTS INSURANCE INFORMATION and because they don't participate in the Amerigroup plan. Bottom line, had they done their job properly none of this would be an issue. Now they sent this bill into collections and ultimately to my credit report. It is not my fault that the staff is incompetent. I did my responsibilities as a patient to give them all my information. It's not my fault they don't know how to do their jobs or READ. Had they done what they were supposed to THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN PAID!! I have filed a Greivence Complaint through my insurance to get this resolved.

This hospital staff is not the same as it was when came with my mom here three years ago. The Attending would not listen to me about my mom being hearing impaired and he was rude to me. This was her second visit. My brother said he could not wake her and today she is very sick again with bleeding and pain. I am very disappointed with care she has received, and their treatment of me when I tried to inform them that she is hearing impaired. No respect at all and treated me as if I was a child. This is a problem because this not the only hospital and I want be bringing her back here again.
I did a short stint covering one of the practices at this hospital. It has been updated on the interior with beautiful med/surg patient rooms, the latest electronic health record, a thoroughly modern nursery, outfitted with the latest equipment. The nurses are knowledgeable and caring. The cafeteria has generous hours and the public is welcome. The ER staff was courteous and kept me appraised of the assessment on a patient I had referred there on a holiday when the office was closed. In 34 years in medicine, I have been in several older and newer facilities including state of the art University Hospitals as both patient and doctor. There are always stronger and weaker departments everywhere, but this area is blessed with a nice hospital facility and kind staff.
