I'm only giving a one star because zero isn't an option. I want to preface by saying I WAS a patient here for over 20 years and didn't have an issue before VCU bought them out. After that their patient care and customer service went down hill fast. My biggest issue however comes from our first visits with our newborn son. On our first visit the nurse called him a little rat, I doubt she was trying to be offensive but she was dealing with tired new parents who were concerned for their baby. Our second visit a week later was a little better, but we had a question of P. Vigilante the nurse practitioner. We were concerned about what appeared to be diaper rash on our baby and were told to continue putting cream on it. Our third visit a week later was the final straw however. After they weighed our baby, we told that nurse that we had a couple questions about the rash, and we had been told on the previous visit by the nurse practitioner that she would check him again on this visit. However we were told Paula said she was too busy to come look at him that we'd have to make another appointment. After voicing our displeasure at the window, and being asked to speak with the office manager about our dissatisfaction, Paula finally came to see him, but said loud enough for my wife to hear, to have another nurse tell her next patient she was going to be late getting to them. VCU Health at Tanglewood lost three patients that day. And by the way if she had actually taken the time to look she would have realized it wasn't a diaper rash but a birth mark and no amount of ointment would have helped it.

My family and I have been seeing NP Beth for years now. As much as I love her and her nurses, I have noticed within the past year or so, there have been less and less availability for appointments due to providers constantly being out for days and even a week at a time...with no one to fill in! There have been very long wait times to get in, even in urgent matters. It needs to make a a lot of changes so patients don't continue to have to suffer while everyone is too booked, or not available, to see us. Doctor Bailey is constantly practicing alone, which makes him late arriving to care for his next patient. It is very hard to wait almost 2 hrs in an exam room with small children!!

They are the most thorough care providers I’ve had in a long time. Never feel rushed, always feel that my concerns are addressed.

I've tried to get appointments 2xs and no one ever called me back both times. Seems like they just don't care.
