I'm always looking for an excuse to run an 'errand' for my wife that just 'happens' to pass by DQ!
Today I got a very disgusting smoothie I was told they could not switch it, I would have to repay for anew one! What happen to making your customers happy and satisfied. Dairy Queen at the capital city mall is very disgusting! Waste of $5 dollars! Not very happy! When I got that smoothie before it was not made like that! VERY UNHAPPY, They made it very sweet!!!!!!
While I don't head to the mall often anymore, the days I do I always make a stop to the Dairy Queen just for the Orange Julius smoothies. For some odd reason the Orange Julius chains seem to differ in the smoothies they offer and it seems the mall one is the only one to offer tropi- or pina-colada in addition to the standard Orange Julius menu. Unfortunately, on occasions the smoothies will taste too sweet and it depends on who you have to make the smoothie for you really.
Manager refused to honor coupon from a Red Cross blood drive which said it could be used at the mall or the New Cumberland DQ. The blood drive was at the mall. Employees working told me they were not allowed to accept the coupon per the manager.
Always a great place for ice cream and to hang out with family and friends.
