Very nice place and the people that work there are very nice . And the manager there was very nice and very helpful. My youngest Daughter got a dwarf hamster ud83dudc39 for the first time and she helped us out so much by getting all of the stuff we needed

I have mixed feelings about this location. One day I go in and get great service. Another day I go in and get treated like garbage and like the staff don't want to help or be there. I spend alot of money here every 2 weeks too, so it's uncalled for.
It seems like every time I buy a fish tank from petco, they never keep the filters in stock. I drove over 45 minutes, one way and no filters. I asked the store associate if there was an order coming in or could she order some for me. She said she was not allowed to order any and couldn't tell if there would be any coming in on the supply truck. I've worked in retail for years and i would never tell a customer that. I felt like she could care less about helping me. It just cemented why I don't put my faith in petco anymore. Very sad the customer doesn't really matter any more.
The manager was a bit rude to our family. Once we decided we wanted to purchase a hamster he explained he could not help us because he was watching the front and called for someone. We waited for 15 minutes and finally my husband asked a lady who was stocking shelves if she could help us. She was SO nice and helpful. We got our hamster and left. From now on we will shop at the other store in Altoona.
