Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM)

I am platinum member in BoA. I asked about help, because I had a closing and needed a certified bank check asap, but 3 representatives refused to help me. Awful experience!

Super slow cashiers! Nobody able to help!

This Bank / Branch gave me the most traumatic experience in my late teens and I feel compelled to warn others how badly this bank branch treated me. I was a Sophomore in college, my mother had written me a check from this bank for ~$150 so I could buy my school books at the local college campus book store. My first stop was here to cash the check and waited at the teller for quite some time before they came back and told me they refused to cash the check.nnI asked why, and they told me that unless my mother was at the branch with me, they would not cash her check which was made out in my name. I had my Drivers license and pointed out that we shared the same last name, and even though my mom lived in Concord and I lived in Sterling, that obviously this was ridiculous..nnAfter several minutes of back and forth, the teller sugested that if we got my mom on the bank phone and they would talk to her about cashing the check.nnSo they called her and asked her for her social security number and a couple of other challenge questions.nnThen, the teller came back to me and told me that even though they were certain the person on the other end of the phone was my mother and that she had written the check out to me for my first day of school, that they still would not honor the check.nnThat was it, no explanation, not excuse and then they told me to leave.nnNeedless to say, I missed my first day at school and to this day, the mistreatment that I receive from this Bank branch has been on my mind.nnI will never forgive this bank for what they did to me.

Horrible service.. went to check my rate of interest for my car financing... I am waited in the queue for 10 mins and the teller direct me to the manager... she asked to wait for some time and after 20 mins wait she comes and asks me to read a paper in the hall.. all I wanted to know is the interest rate which they could have directed me to the printouts. I decided to close my relationship with BOA soon...
