I've loved visiting the Lilac Hedge farm stand at Dewey Square in Boston. Unfortunately over the past year I haven't been commuting into work, so I placed my first order online this past week. The meat is incredible. I made lamb shanks last night that turned into the most tender, juicy, fall-apart lamb imaginable. It was the best lamb of my life! A true testament to the quality of care that goes into raising these animals. The variety of cuts and incredible quality will keep bringing us back for more. Thank you Lilac Hedge!

We have purchased items from Lilac Hedge for years and have not been disappointed yet. Their meats are top quality and taste the way meat should. I love knowing where my food came from and that the animals were well cared for in a human way. This family farm knows what they are doing and do a fantastic job. Well worth the little extra $ compared to the giant grocery store products. Also, they have a camel at the farm that my kids love to visit. Who doesn’t love that?!

A very close friend had recommended Lilac Hedge Farm. I loved reading about the farm and it's operations. Recently they had a bulk sale that enticed me to place an order around Valentine's Day for my husband who is the main meat eater in our family. My order was delivered flawlessly to my home in Arlington, MA. The meat was packaged and labeled by weight and sized to easily fit in my freezer. The quality of the beef stew meat, chicken thighs and eggs that we ordered was excellent!. And I particularly enjoyed being able to support such a well run, environmentally conscious farm that so lovingly cares about the animals they raise. Many thanks to all on the farm.

I have had some amazing cuts of meat from this farm and regularly recommend buying from here to all my carnivorous friends and family! I was most impressed with the pork chops, and the bacon is a regular item in my freezer. We also love the steaks, lamb, and whole chicken (SAVE THE BONES FOR THE MOST AMAZING STOCK!). If there's a special occasion, we'll pick up some duck too! I recently made the switch to feeding my family 100% local food (thanks pandemic!), and shopping from LHF made the switch super easy.

A friend of mine recommended Lilac Hedge Farm as a wonderful place to buy meat. In recent years I have wanted to consume less meat but when I did I wanted to consume humanely raised, sustainable, and healthy meat. I just received my second order and I plan to continue ordering meat from them because what I've had so far has been absolutely delicious! So much better than what can be found in most grocery stores. So thank you for all you do.
