VERY QUIET.. of course nothing wrong with this, but when I went in with my very vocal 2 yr old there were a few glares from the staff. Which didn't feel welcoming at all. Wasn't exactly impressed with their chocolate either. Spent around $50 something dollars Candies were attractive to the eye yes, but their quality wasn't exactly what I was expecting. It felt like I was eating cheap Easter chocolate when I could of more so enjoyed a simple Nestlé crunch bar.
Great chocolate in a cool building, plus the ice cream sundae bar (when it opens again) make this a great place!
Nice place for good ice cream amd candies.
Store was almost empty. Very limited selection.. Granted it was the day after Valentines day but can't imagine everyone waited til the last minute and colonial candies had no time to restock anything.
Our kids had fun visiting the candy store. It's not as extravagant as I remember visiting decades ago when I was a child and it was the Hebert Mansion. Staff was nice and they still have ice cream.
