I'm not one to leave reviews of restaurants I didn't enjoy, but I felt it was necessary for this location. My date of visit was 10/22/19, I was performing for wedding a few hours after my meal. My friend and I looked for a place to eat beforehand and noticed that your establishment had an overall 4 star rating. Going in on the notion that the food was worthy of 4 stars, my friend and I were looking forward to our meal.nnUpon entering, we were welcomed by the host at the front counter and were seated quickly after, however that was the end of our hospitality. Our waitress seemed displeased to serve two young adults by her tone of voice when asking us what we would like as well as annoyed with our questions regarding the menu. We were rarely checked up on when there were only 2 other parties in the restaurant at the time.nnAs for the food, my friend and I ordered the potato skins as a starter. When they came out, there was a layer of orange grease on top of the potato which only happens if the cheese is over cooked. My friend then ordered your clam chowder, which to the credit of the chef, my friend very much enjoyed. I ordered the 'Rodeo burger' and boy oh boy was it a rodeo...I asked for it to be made medium; what I received was a burger that was medium rare, on the verge of rare. I'm afraid it was not a meal I was very impressed with.

The New Flat Penny is terrific! I love the new decor and the new menu! The new bar bites and specialty drinks are awesome! In addition, the staff is very welcoming and attentive! I’m looking forward to my next visit!

went To the flat penny on my birthday and had an awesome time! Got the nachos as an app nearly no wait and tasted amazing. Love the warm Atmosphere and great service they have. it’s truly great weekend night out.

Heck, always end up here when it's raining.nnFlat penny is superb bar food, even a simple chicken breast sandwich is some how way more tasty than anything I make at home.nnOne of the few bars I've actually interacted with the staff and enjoyed it, clearly whoever is in charge of this place, knows what they are doing.
