I love how the employees put their hard work towards the Alaska Native Hospital. Their very nice and kind. Means a lot. Thank you ANMC.

They offer glasses and support groups. I ended up having my daughter in the inn. She was a bathtub baby! It was unexpectedly quick, but the midwife Kimberly was amazing and so supportive.

I wish I could give this hospital a -10 rating. I was treated awful. I had to have emergency surgery on my ankle and never once was I helped going to the bathroom and I had a portable bathroom and they didn’t change it out for a day and a half so it was full. Never once did they sanitize the room, never once did they wash me or my hands. They didn’t even want to wheelchair me to my car knowing I was on pain medication and muscle relaxers and just had surgery. Never once did I get fed besides apple sauce. I would call for help and would have to wait 20 minutes or longer to get help. My IV ripped out and never once did they change my bloody bandages I had to do it myself after a few days. They didn’t even want to give me a new mask knowing the one I had on was bloody from the cuts in my mouth. They never sanitized my cuts and sores so now I have to worry about it getting infected. I am not happy and have NEVER IN MY LIFE been treated this poorly. Never again will I go there and everyone I know won’t be going there either.

The pediatrics department has been great when it comes to scheduling and responding when asked to. The pediatric doctors have been awesome. This department has been really good to deal with. Ive used their ER services and they have been great also. Now....for the walk in clinic, pretty much a joke. Called 3 different days and got transfer after transfer. Finally received info on what to do with regards to my needs. Showed up and was redirected to 3 different buildings. Finally got to the clinic and literally not a person other than myself was there. After a 20 min wait I was seen by a nurse who did not know how to preform her job. She was polite and I appreciated that but I was disappointed she couldn’t even draw blood. Never was I asked if I needed a doctor or was even told if one was available. I was told to call back 2 days later and when I did I was transferred....again and was told no one was available. I Waited four days and called again. I was told no one was available and I would get a call back by the end of the day. I asked the person I was talking to, just to be sure, if they would call me back for sure. I was assured 100% that a doctor would. Never received a call!!! I feel that the left hand has not a clue of what the right hand is doing over there. Very disappointed!
