I spent a quiet week in September at the beautiful and clean Longliner Inn in Sitka Alaska. I enjoyed the large room and all the amenities, but most of all I loved the open deck overlooking the channel.nSitting in the fresh ocean air watching fishing boats motoring by through rafts of mewing gulls, gigantic sea lions and cute little sea otter.nWhat a wonderful experience.nThey have an on sight manager (Ferdinand) who was very helpful and attentive without being constantly underfoot.nI will return. Thank you Longliner.
Amazing service! Ferdinand picked us up from the airport in the evening and dropped us off in the morning. He also offered us rides around town during our trip. Couldn’t have asked for more.
Awesome people and right on the water. Rooms are spacious and clean but basic.nnRestaurant is closed for the rest of 2020.

I always stay at the Longliner when I am in Sitka. They provide transportation to and from the airport, the food is great, the service is even better and the view is amazing.
