I took friends that were visiting from Reno to dinner on their last night on Maui at Dukes. It was my first time too. I heard good reviews from some of my family members that dined here. The hostess sat us right down and the service was great. The food was delicious. The Beautiful ocean view with a stunning sunset was a bonus. There was a live musician that just added to our dining pleasure. I will share my wonderful experience and keep this jewel as a continued dining treasure to enjoy for years to come.

Definitely make reservations! We weren't able to get in for dinner here, but we did get up and get here early one morning to eat breakfast. We were able to get seated at the bar. Our waiter/bartender Shawn was extremely nice and attentive! Our mimosas were great!! Food was excellent! Would have loved to come back during our stay!

Dukes is nice. The food is good quality and service was great. A good family environment. Not the place if you are looking for the gourmet quality. Very relaxed and enjoyable. My only wish would be just a few more choices on the menu. O look forward to the next visit.

A wonderful restaurant! Staff is helpful and attentive. The food...outstanding! The hula pie is of course amazing and oh so yummy. Banana and macadamia pancakes are to die for with both regular and coconut syrup, get the fried rice with it - super yummy. The macadamia nut encrusted fish is oh so good, even the cheeseburger. And of course the drinks! So nice to enjoy the breeze and watch the whales.

I ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer ($17) and they only gave a quantity of four regular sized shrimp and some weird spicy onion side. Let me just break this down for you the cost was $4 per shrimp.... I feel that as an appetizer you should be getting enough to share with your party. FOUR is not cutting it!! I will say that the shrimp tasted good but honestly it wasn’t anything spectacular.
