Kobe Japanese Steak House & Oku's Sushi Bar

We enjoyed our experience at Kobe. The service was very good and our waiter took very good care of us while we celebrated my wife’s birthday. Our chef was funny and entertaining.nnThe food was good, but not as good as similar teppanyaki style places. My steak was over cooked for medium rare and my vegetables were almost exclusively onions. The other vegetables looked good, but alas, I’ll never know. The shrimp was great and made the meal for me. My wife and kids liked their meals well enough but also felt better food and flavors were to be had back home.

Food was okay but service is not very good. Our server did not check in with us not even once after taking our order. I would expect a higher level of service given their prices. I've had a better experience at Beni Hana's. You can get similar plates at some of the local food trucks.

Totally beyond the five ✨⭐✨ stars. The customer service was awesomely awesome. The waiters, servers, cooks. They are top of the line amazingly amazing. The whole staff was totally over the top. I would totally recommend Kobe Steakhouse.nLord, may you continue to bless this establishment abundantly. May you bless each staff member and their families. Probably wouldn't eat here again. The service was awesome! Unfortunately nothing else about the restaurant was worth the money. Two adults and a child was over $100. The sushi gave us food poisoning and my brother spent the next full day of his Hawaiian vacation sick. The food was mediocre. That being said, I did give it three stars because our chef was really personable. The restaurant was also dirty.

Made a reservation in advance. Showed up on time. Instead of seating us at the hibachi table, they shoved in the corner of the bar area. (Why would anyone want to pay hibachi prices to not have the show?). We sat always and waited for over 15 minutes. Nobody even bothered to acknowledge we were there. I've heard their great, if you can actually be seated and get service. Be prepared with a backup plan.
