Castaway Cafe

My family came early for breakfast. The food was wonderful! Paradise pancakes were awesome, breakfast burrito great, and my husband had an omelet. The omelet was a little on the done side but still a good meal. Staff were really nice and we had quick service.

Dined here for dinner and then brunch during our vacation. All four of us enjoyed our meals. Although they were very busy due to COVID capacity restrictions, they were very friendly and accommodating. The service cordial and prompt. The food was all very good. The prices were very reasonable, particularly for Maui. I can’t believe we hadn’t discovered this gem in a prior visit. We won’t make that mistake in the future as the Castaway Cafe is now on our must dine list for all future visits.

This is a cute little restaurant tucked next to the pool at Maui Kaanapali Villas. The atmosphere is beautiful with the pool nearby and the beach just ahead. There were great outdoor views no matter your seat. The menu was good - do yourself a favor and order the cheese curds!

It was good! Service was good. Food was ok, unfortunately I had a big egg shell in my omelette when I bit into it. Mostly just ate my vegetables out of it.nBest part was the banana bread! If you go, grab some!
