My baby was born here in September. The Labor and Delivery department is incredible. We were treated kindly by all of the nurses and doctors over our 3.5-day stay. Pretty much everything that could go wrong with my body did go wrong, but they handled everything calmly, so we knew they had tried their hardest to help us stick to our birthing plan, even though I ended up needing a c section. If my insurance works with them for the next baby, I would love to deliver here again.

This is not a very good place to take your elderly loved ones. My grandpa who is diagnosed with dementia was placed in here for 10 days. Because of covid there isn’t any visitations, which is fine, I understand. So I called him and in the middle of our phone call a nurse took the phone from him and put me on hold with no explanation. I felt completely disrespected and so did my grandpa. Not only that, but when we picked him up, his dentures looked like they weren’t cleaned the entire time he was there, his clothes were inside out, and he smelled like he hadn’t showered. I’m absolutely disgusted with the care here.

I wouldn’t even give this place a star. Worst place ever! DO NOT ever place your elderly parents or loved ones in this place. My dad was waiting to get into a VA home and had dementia. By the time he got out, he was no longer walking and they still didn’t have his medications correct to help him with his dementia. Worst experience of our lives. They threatened to drop him off at a homeless shelter. A veteran. Just so they could open up a bed.

I explicitly asked the woman during check in if they accepted my insurance when I had to go in for an emergency. She assured me that the hospital accepted all insurance and that I would only pay my deductible. At the end of my visit she said I owed $100 and it was okay if I didn't have that payment available. I did happen to have that, so I paid the $100 and expected a bill for $50 to come later because I know my deductible for emergency visits is a total of $150. They sent me a bill for no less than $1,200.99. I called the billing department and asked if they submitted this to my insurance. They stated that my insurance declined to pay any part of my bill. So, I called my insurance. The representative told me that they in fact did not decline to pay, and according to my records, I should only owe $525.80 because they are out-of-network, but the insurance is willing to work with the hospital. Called the billing department back and they stated they have the right to refuse payment from the insurance and force me to be responsible for the entire bill. After escalating things to the supervisor because hospital staff blatantly lied to me, the billing department told me they can only discount it by 45%, bringing the bill down to around $600, but in order to get that discount I would have to pay in full today. Do not be fooled by this moral-less hospital. They will lie to your face about what you will owe and be totally unwilling to help after the fact. The simple fact that my insurance was willing to pay $675.19 toward my bill, yet the hospital refuses to take that money should be an eye-opener. I cannot believed I was scammed by this place. Especially amidst a pandemic. Especially because they're getting so many positive reviews. I am greatly disappointed in this service. To top it off, Curtis in the Patient Services disconnected the call while I was speaking.

I drove from California to Utah to see my mother. She was admitted into hospital an hour before I got there. Emergency room got special permission for me. I went up to ICU the gentleman at front desk would not let me see my mother even though I had gotten previous permission. I then went to car and called ICU and asked to be connected to my mother room. I called three times and each time they said they would connect me then disconnected the line. The next day my mother passed away. Can you imagine spending your last day alone.and I could not even talk to her. So selfish of hospital to not put family before there selfish authority. Mom I love you and am so sorry you had to die alone.
