Highland House Nursing & Rehab

Horrible horrible experience with this company. The case managers have NO IDEA whats going on with the patients. Had to check in with nurses again and again. Erin the case manager never returned any phone calls. Specifically asked for a diet for my grandma to be sent to me, never happened. 12 hours after being released and my grandmother is literally sick as I've ever seen her and this place said it was safe discharge. They literally told us 2 stories for everything, yet all were just excuses not actual help. Im calling insurance now so they don't recommend anyone else's loved ones to these rude RUDE people.

I have worked for this company for 6 months and never been happier. The amount of compassion I see day to day from our staff and the loving home filled environment bring me to tears some days. This is 100% why I went into nursing over 10 years ago. I highly recommend this building and I am moving my own family member in this week. Proud Employee

My Dad was there for 3 weeks, we were there everyday and the staff was so kind(especially Dylan). When he needed something they were right there. Thank you for all your support.

Checked my grandpa into this place with dementia and a recent hip surgery. He needed a bed alarm because he would forget about his surgery, but the staff claimed they didn't believe in bed alarms. They finally agreed to put one in per our request, but then by morning still no bed alarm . Treated our family horrendously, and we had to remove him. Unbelievable lack of compassion from staff and admin. Do not go here if you love your family member, awful. He fell out of bed and the staff hid it from us. The nurse admitted she claimed she would call if that happened but then didn't. Unbelievable.

This is my mom's second stay at Highland House and both times they have worked themselves out of a job. Once again my mom has fully recovered.nThe licensed staff is OUTSTANDING: The physical therapist, laundry, food services, CNA's RN's, Maintenance, front desk ,Housekeeping, Admittance and Discharge planners and how could I forget the Activities Department and balloon volleyball! From Day One they all went out of their way to make my m om feel comfortable and cared for. This is the heart of highland house. It is truly and healing community.nnAt 87 my mom will walk out of this facility on her own two feet!nAnd looking forward to a new beginning.nWe are grateful for her recovery but sad to leave. Our hearts will always be at Highland House.nI highly recommend this care facility.
