I had a very specific vehicle build I wanted custom ordered from GMC. My sales rep, Josh W. promptly returned a quote for me based on the configuration I emailed him. I noticed a couple of incorrect items on his quote and emailed him back. He didn't respond. I emailed him again. No response. I called and left messages. Nothing. He finally answered the phone two days later and told me he was with a customer and would call back. It never happened. I went to their web site and asked the chat specialist if she could either contact Josh for me or place the order. It was one of the most cringeworthy chat conversations I've ever had. Apparently Dave Smith chat cannot in any way communicate with anyone at Dave Smith and they don't know anything about cars, sales, contacts, etc.nnI finally went to another local Spokane area dealership. They caught additional careless errors on Josh's quote (like wrong size pickup bed). The also removed the BS $630 advertising fee and the $300 document fee. Come to find out the Spokane rep was a former Dave Smith employee and said that after Dave Smith's buyout by RFJ, their employment practices and customer service has become terrible. That is why she quit. I would never do business again with Dave White and would actively recommend that you do business with someone a little more local and a little more competent.

Very friendly service. However if you do not plan on staying in a hotel for the night... you plan on just the day to shop and buy, rethink that. It is a very long day especially when their lots are scattered about. If we'd have had more time, we'd have made a different purchase. We didn't get enough information on the truck features ( or lack of them) Still I would recommend this dealership.

Well their prices are great. Their customer service is abysmal. We went in with a price already in writing and financing in place. It still took them 7 hours to get our purchase complete. Up sale after up sale, tried to run my credit after I vehemently told them I want to use my bank. I know the young kid that gave me the price in writing was probably in trouble for dropping it so low and my wife and I think they were trying to wait us out (um, no. We are way to stubborn, lol)

I have emailed called and tried to chat with the worthless auto robot chat assistant. Asked for calls and some sort of reply as I was going to purchase a new truck. Live in Boise and so does my mom and dad who said it was worth the drive. I am active duty and stationed in WA now and i was willing to do a turn and burn.. How many times do you have to ask for a real person to call you back. Looks I'll be getting ahold of Peterson again as they don't have a problem with follow through. You have two days Dave Smith then I take my money elsewhere..

It is amazing how one sales person can change your whole perspective on buying a car. Ran into one of the DS Chevy sales people at the Spokane car show and he was less than helpful.
