Went into the store to pick up split shot and strike indicators. Was my second time fly fishing so I mentioned to the employee (Scott) that I was having trouble casting so maybe split shot would help. He said split shot had nothing to do with casting and proceeded to take me into the parking lot and demonstrate a few things, then watch me try them. Very friendly and helpful and I appreciated the kindness towards a starting fly fisher. Thanks so much Scott!
What a great place. Prices were very reasonable. Scott was great and very helpful. He even took me outside to practice with a fly pole and give me advice, which was really helpful for a beginner like me.
Super helpful, staff suggested flies for a couple hatches on the stream and gave me two recommendations on places to try for a specific trout species - which worked out perfectly. Fly prices were reasonable.
Great shop. Very knowledgeable. I was passing through from Arkansas. Andy rec'd 2 good fishing spots and the right flies to go out and slay some fish. Thanks!!!
