The Brooks Hotel

Great location. The mattress was the most comfortable I’ve slept on in a long time.nI will stay again.

Straight forward, no frills. Center of a pretty cool town. Attached resturant is good for breakfast.

A bit rustic but very nice rooms. Comfortable and affordable. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to the guests need. Attached to the hotel are a spa, Cafe and lounge. A very nice stay and very kind staff.

I absolutely LOVE the Brooks Hotel and the family that runs it really is the absolute BEST!!! Very friendly from the second I walked in. The restaurant is great and the atmosphere is very homie. The front desk lady did say that they were out of updated rooms so I was aware that we were getting a room that wasn't updated. To be honest, I didn't realize just how NOT updated it was. The room was small and very dated. But that's ok!! I can live with that. The bed was very comfortable. Probably one of the more comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on. There were some issues, however... The toilet ran for hours at a time. I tried the ol' jiggle the handle to no avail. The toilet water still ran. There was a constant draft coming from the window. That's when I realized the window locks were broken. I couldn't open or close the window so I'm assuming it was nailed shut, but not all the way shut. It was cold and snowing and the draft was quite noticeable. There were no covers on the fire alarm and another alarm looking device. I'm going to assume they both still worked but I never saw lights flashing or anything... The bathroom floor needed repair. But that's just cosmetic. Not a deal breaker. I didn't feel the room was worth the price of an updated room but I was charged the same... I really love this business and the family that runs it. By no means am I meaning to detour people from renting a room here!!! I'm just giving my honest opinion on the room I was given. I'm sure the recently updated rooms are much nicer and I will definitely give them another stay in the future and give a new review when that time comes. The Brooks Hotel is the epitome of Wallace hospitality. They are the best of the best!! My room however, was not. I look forward to staying with them again and hopefully I will get to check out a remodeled room. I hear they are very much worth the money!!

We had such a great experience staying here in Wallace. Everyone was very friendly. The rooms were clean and the decor was trendy and modern.
