I really enjoyed my burger today. I got the regular burger which is a third of a pound and the Buffalo chips. The chips are best described as thick slices of potatoes that our deep fried like potato chips but with spices on them. And is a really good value for what I paid. as I was eating I looked over and noticed that they have pies and so I asked for a slice of pie. I did not expect one quarter of the pie but it hit the spot perfectly. I do wish that they had beds available so that I could have taken a nap but decided to come home and do that. I would recommend and if you have enough room in your stomach get one of their quarter pies. Great value and great service. I really enjoyed the country music in the background because it reminded me of when my father and I would sits on Sundays and listen to the radio.

The best chicken fried steak ever! Large portions for what you pay. Was there at peak dinner rush on my anniversary and service was still fast and friendly. It was loud and crowded but that’s just part of the experience because it’s not “fine dining.” Its a lively and family friendly BBQ pit! We will definitely be back!

What a fun, one of a kind restaurant! I believe it is Idaho's oldest existing restaurant and it's owned by a local with homestead history in the area. The decor and vibe matches it to boot. An old rustic restaurant and bar that used to have a brothel upstairs, it has since become home to one of the tastiest home cooked meals around! Plus, they have family friendly live music every Friday night. The music was great! And the food even better... I highly recommend the sweet potatoe nachos. The recipe, believe it or not, comes from South Korea! And it's worth trying. But, beware, it's big enough to be a stand alone meal. Each meal is country size, so bring your appetite!nnA fantastic restaurant that is family friendly, fun, and delicious! You can't beat it!

The Snake Pit is just an amazing place overall to go for date night or for the whole family to enjoy. The warmth of this place is everything from the fireplace to the rustic decorations and art on the walls I literally find something new and interesting to look at everytime I come there. Best of all the live music they have is always so great. The staff is friendly and inviting, the food is to die for and the place is always clean.

We enjoyed the food. We will go again. Our friends with us ordered the Rocky Mt. Oysters and it looked like they had been flattened with a iron and then thickly coated. He said that it mostly tasted like the coating. He has ordered them before and they were good. Been a few years ago.
