On September 14th, 2020 my dog started gushing blood out of her foot. I noticed a small bullet size while by her nail and started calling all the local vets (Upper Valley and Cedar Ridge) begging for help because my dog started gushing blood everywhere and they said it wasn’t a big deal. I took her to Countryside Vet Clinic in Saint Anthony and he did emergency surgery (immediately) and for surgery, an emergency visit, medications, and supplies it was $200.04. My poor pup had an old 1/2 inch piece of bark in her foot that caused an infection and her foot literally burst open. There was a bullet size hole in her foot by the nail and she was bleeding everywhere. Both local vets said they were to busy or it wasn’t a real emergency. They are so reasonably priced and so nice! We even took her back a week later to have her checked to see if she could go to daycare and they examined her and bandaged her foot all for $35. We are taking our dogs there permanently now. It was only a 20 minute drive and has great service and great staff. They even have their phone hooked up to their cell. So we called after hours and left a message asking for them to call us back in the morning and they actually called us back then at 9 pm at night. I can’t say enough great things.
